The YJA Board of Trustees (BOT) is comprised of four individuals, generally YJA Board Alumni or adult leaders in the Jain community, who serve two-year terms. BOT members offer invaluable guidance, support, and expertise to the current board, and we thank them for giving back to the YJA community!

Mansi Shah

2016 - 2018

Mansi Shah is a partner at Merchant & Gould, an intellectual property firm. She has practiced technology law for over a decade, and has a degree in computer science. During her college years, she served on the YJA Board as the Director Publications and Public Relations. Mansi looks forward to her son’s involvement in YJA a decade from now.

Naman Jain

2016 - 2018

Naman Jain is an engineer based in the Bay Area. Originally from Boston, he has been involved with the Jain Center of Greater Boston, YJA & YJP in a variety of capacities for years. When he’s not working or thinking about ways that Jain youth can strengthen relationships with their sanghs, he can be found out in the bay sailing his boat.

Prem Jain

2015 - 2017

Prem Jain is currently CEO and CFO of a stealth mode startup called Pensando Systems. Previously, he held a variety of roles at Cisco Systems, most notably Vice President of New Business Ventures. He is a founding member of both JAINA and the Jain Center of Northern California, and has been to every YJA convention except for one.

Shardule Shah

2015 - 2017

Shardule helps run clinical trials at a biotech startup in the Bay Area. Prior to moving to CA, he completed his PhD in Immunology at Emory University. Shardule has been involved with YJA as an attendee, speaker, Dir. of Education, Co-Chair, and now Trustee. He and his wife Ami, also a former YJA co-chair, are expecting a baby girl in April 2017.
